Latest news from POB Anthropocene: a preliminary summary of the TM call for proposals

Despite the pandemic and remote work, the competition for Talent Management mini-grants POB Anthropocene aroused considerable interest!

A total of 60 applications were submitted for the total amount of 2 507 172,44 PLN. 30 applications were submitted by students and 30 by PhD students. 26 team and 34 individual projects were proposed.

The number of individual disciplines declared in the applications is shown in the charts below.

Therefore, even before selecting the winners, we can say that young researchers at the Jagiellonian University are not afraid of the challenges related to existing divisions of science into disciplines and want to conduct innovative, interdisciplinary research, individually and in newly established research teams, as well as cooperate with social and economic partners!

The competition should be adjudicated no later than February 22, 2021.
